Frequently Asked Questions
About Little Pea Shop
Who are you?
We're a small, family-run shop. We sell a tight, handpicked selection of things for babies and toddlers — feeding and mealtime, sleep and comfort, play and development, and the daily essentials. Everything here has been chosen by a real person, not filled in by an algorithm.
How do you choose what you sell?
Slowly. We look for things that are practical, calm and made from materials we'd want near our own children — natural where it makes sense, quiet in design, and genuinely useful rather than merely new. If something doesn't earn its place, we don't stock it.
Ordering and payment
Do I need an account?
No. You can check out as a guest — there's nothing to sign up for and no password to remember.
What payment methods do you accept?
Major credit and debit cards, plus PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay where your device and browser support them. Payment is handled securely by Shopify; we never see or store your card details.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Usually, yes — if you catch us before it ships. Email support@littlepeashop.com with your order number as soon as you can and we'll do our best. Once an order has left the warehouse we can't recall it, but you can still cancel under the returns terms below.
I've spotted a mistake in my address. What now?
Tell us straight away and we'll correct it if the order hasn't shipped. If it has already gone, get in touch anyway — depending on the carrier we can sometimes still help.
Shipping and delivery
How much is shipping?
Nothing. Shipping is free worldwide, and the price you see on the product page is the price you pay.
Where do you ship?
Worldwide. Most of our orders go to the EU, the UK and the US, with plenty to Australia and Canada.
How long will my order take?
Orders are usually prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days. After dispatch, most orders arrive within 6–15 business days, depending on where you are.
We'd rather give you an honest window than a flattering one. If something is running late, we'd sooner hear from you than have you wonder — email us and we'll chase it.
How do I track my order?
You'll get an email with tracking as soon as your order ships. Tracking can take a few days to start updating after dispatch, which is normal and not a sign anything has gone wrong.
My order is very late. What are my rights?
If your order hasn't arrived within 30 days of purchase, you can cancel it and we'll refund you in full. If it's simply running behind, get in touch and we'll look into it — we'd rather sort it than leave you waiting.
Tracking says delivered, but nothing arrived.
Email us. It's worth checking with neighbours and around the property first, as carriers sometimes leave parcels in safe places without saying so. If it still doesn't turn up, we'll take it up with the carrier and put it right — your order is our responsibility until it reaches you.
Will I pay customs or import duties?
For most of our customers, no. But import rules vary from country to country and change from time to time, and any charges are set by your local customs authority rather than by us — so we can't promise what every country will do. If you're not sure, it's worth a quick check with your own customs office before you order.
Returns and refunds
I've changed my mind. Can I return it?
Yes. You have 14 days from the day your order arrives to tell us you'd like to cancel, and we'll refund you. Just email support@littlepeashop.com with your order number — you don't need to give a reason.
How do I send it back?
Email us first and we'll tell you what to do — it depends on the item. Don't post anything back before you've heard from us, or we may not be able to trace it.
My order arrived damaged or faulty.
We'll put it right. Email us with your order number and a photo, and we'll arrange a replacement or a refund. This is separate from the 14-day cancellation above — your legal rights for faulty goods last far longer, and in the EU that's two years from delivery.
I've received the wrong item.
Our mistake, our problem. Send us your order number and a photo and we'll sort a replacement or a refund straight away.
When will I get my money back?
We'll refund to your original payment method as soon as we've agreed the return — normally within a few days. How quickly it appears after that is down to your bank or card provider.
Buying as a gift
Can I have an order sent straight to someone else?
Yes — just enter their address as the delivery address at checkout. Your order confirmation comes to you, not to them.
Will the recipient see the price?
No. We never include prices or an invoice in the parcel.
What if they already have it, or it isn't right?
The 14-day cancellation applies just the same, and we're happy to deal with whoever contacts us. If you're buying well ahead of a birth or a birthday, tell us and we'll be sensible about timing.
Products and safety
Are the photographs accurate?
They're as accurate as we can make them. Colours can look slightly different between screens, and handmade or natural materials vary a little by nature. If something arrives looking genuinely unlike its photograph, tell us — that's not what we want either.
Are the measurements exact?
They're close, but treat them as approximate. Where a precise size matters, ask us and we'll measure one.
What about safe sleep?
Soft toys, comforters, cushions and loose blankets are lovely for cuddles and quiet moments, but the safest sleep space is a bare crib. We mark the products this applies to, and we say so plainly on the product page rather than burying it. Where something is designed for safe sleep — a sleep sack or a wearable layer — we say that too.
Getting in touch
How do I contact you?
For anything to do with an order — tracking, returns, a problem — email support@littlepeashop.com and include your order number. For everything else, hello@littlepeashop.com reaches us.
We're a small team, so you'll get a person rather than a script. We usually reply within a business day.
Where can I read the full terms?
Our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy, Terms of Service and Privacy Policy have the detail. If anything here and the policies disagree, the policies are the operative version — tell us and we'll fix the inconsistency.
