Terms of service

1. Who we are
littlepeashop.com is operated by SGS Ecom, a company registered in France.
- Registered address: 8 Chemin de l'Essertillet, 74360 Bonnevaux, France
- VAT number: FR79927869883
- Orders, returns and delivery: support@littlepeashop.com
- Everything else: hello@littlepeashop.com
In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean SGS Ecom trading as Little Pea Shop. "You" means the person placing an order.
2. Scope
These terms apply to every order placed through littlepeashop.com. Please read them before ordering. By placing an order you accept them.
We sell to consumers. We do not knowingly sell for resale, and we may decline or cancel orders that appear to be for commercial resale.
You must be at least 18 and legally able to enter into a contract.
3. Products
We describe our products as accurately as we can. Photographs are illustrative: colours can vary between screens, and natural or handmade materials vary a little by nature. Measurements are approximate unless stated otherwise.
Age guidance shown on a product is the manufacturer's, and is a minimum rather than a recommendation. Some items carry safety information on the product page — please read it. Toys and nursery items should be used under appropriate adult supervision.
Availability is not guaranteed. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we'll tell you and refund you in full.
4. Orders and contract
Placing an order is an offer to buy. Our order confirmation email acknowledges receipt but does not conclude the contract; the contract is formed when we dispatch your order.
We may decline an order — for example if we cannot verify payment or delivery details, if an item is unavailable, or if a price or description was clearly wrong. If we decline after payment, we refund in full.
No account is required. You can order as a guest.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the currency selected at checkout and include delivery. Where applicable taxes are included, this is indicated at checkout.
We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect orders already placed.
If a price is obviously incorrect, we will contact you before dispatch and you may confirm at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.
We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay and Google Pay where supported. Payment is processed by our payment providers; we do not receive or store your full card details.
6. Delivery
Delivery terms, timescales and your rights if an order is late are set out in our Shipping Policy, which forms part of these terms.
Your order remains our responsibility until it is delivered to you.
7. Cancellation, returns and refunds
Your right to change your mind, and your rights where goods are faulty, damaged or incorrect, are set out in our Refunds and Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms.
8. Legal guarantees
We supply goods that conform to the contract. Consumers in the European Union benefit from a legal guarantee of conformity of at least two years from delivery. Consumers in France additionally benefit from the garantie légale de conformité and the garantie des vices cachés. Consumers in the United Kingdom have rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Our liability
We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or under product liability law.
We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, though where such a delay is substantial you may cancel and be refunded.
10. Your use of the site
You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, interfere with its operation, or extract its content systematically for commercial use.
All content on this site — text, images, logos and design — belongs to us or our licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.
11. Your personal data
We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. You have rights of access, rectification and erasure under the GDPR, and may contact us at any time to exercise them.
12. Complaints and dispute resolution
If something has gone wrong, please contact support@littlepeashop.com first. Most things are resolved quickly and directly.
In accordance with the provisions of the French Code de la consommation governing the mediation of consumer disputes, if you have contacted us and our response has not resolved matters to your satisfaction, you may refer the dispute free of charge to our consumer mediator:
CM2C
49 rue de Ponthieu
75008 Paris, France
Telephone: 01 89 47 00 14
Report a dispute: www.cm2c.net/declarer-un-litige.php
Email: litiges@cm2c.net
You must raise your complaint with us in writing first. You then have one year from that complaint to refer the matter to the mediator, who has 90 days to propose a solution. Mediation costs you nothing.
This does not affect your right to bring proceedings before the courts.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the European Union or in the United Kingdom, you keep the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence, and may bring proceedings in your local courts.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it. The date at the top shows when this version took effect.
